Monday, 22 February 2010, PC-BSD 8.0 was released to the general public.

Built upon FreeBSD 8.0-RELEASE-P2, PC-BSD 8.0 sports a new system installer, updated software across the board, and the ability to run the installer in a "live-cd" mode. For specifics, please check out the release notes.

Congrats to the PC-BSD team on all their hard work! I look forward to trying out this latest release.
